King’s Day Parade

King's Day Parade
It’s time for our traditional march along the Mandeville lakefront to kickoff Carnival 2023! On Saturday, January 7th, we will debut our new routines for the season, along with various organizations, including:
Nola Bombshells
Lakeshore High Titan Band
Slidell Synch
Northshore Knockouts
Lollipops
Bionic Babes
Louisiana Ladies
Passionate Barbies
Come out to the lakefront* at 2pm to cheer on the participants, and then join us afterward from 3-5pm at the Mandeville Trailhead for a festival sponsored by Abita Brewery and Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, featuring king cakes from local bakeries, and performances by some of the parade participants. This festival is also a fundraiser for the Mande Milkshakers organization.
– With a $20 donation, you will receive a wristband for shrimp pastalaya and Abita beer.
– With a $15 donation, you will receive a wristband for shrimp pastalaya and root beer.
We will accept all donations at the Mandeville Trailhead on the day of the event. (Cash or Venmo is preferred.)
*Please note – this is a walking parade; there will be no floats or throws.
