Sparks in the Park. 7-9PM. Fireworks celebration in Bogue Falaya Park. Chairs, picnic baskets, and blankets welcome. Food concessions will be sold. Face painting for the kids will be available.
July 1st, 2017
Light Up the Lake. 4-9PM. Mandeville Lakefront. At 10AM eating and drinking restrictions will be lifted and families will be allowed to have picnics all day. At 3PM Old Mandeville Businesses will begin selling food and drink. At 4PM live music will begin at a stage on the lakefront located between Coffee and Carroll Streets. Supercharger and Cake Walk will be performing. At the end of the evening there will be a fireworks display over Lake Pontchartrain.
Slidell Heritage Festival. 4-11PM. Heritage Park, Slidell. $10 entry fee benefits charity. Children 12 and under get in free with a paying adult. Music all day. Children’s activities. Food and drink for sale. See full information on their website.
Fireworks Show. 7-9PM Fontana Road Park, Independence. Gate open at 4PM and there will be hotdogs and face-painting for the kids. Fireworks show starts at 9PM.
July 2nd, 2016
Fireworks in Abita. 5-10PM. Abita Trailhead. Food and drinks for sale. Entertainment. Blankets and chairs welcome. Fireworks show at 9PM.
July 3rd, 2016
Fireworks Show. 5-9PM. Ponchatoula Area Rec District, 42128 North Hoover Road. Gates open at 5PM. Concession stand will be open and ice cream trucks will be on hand selling. Entertainment will be available until the show starts at sun down.
July 4th, 2016
Light up the Sky. 5-9:30PM. Zemurray Park, Hammond. 15th Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show.
Madisonville Old Fashioned Fourth. Parade line up begins at 1:30PM. Parades, one-mile fun run, horse shoe tournament, beauty pageant, and more. Visit their website for more details.
Mande Milkshakers Independence Day Parade. 2PM. Theme is “Red, White, and Mande Blue.” Parade will run from Jackson to Carondolet Streets with an awards ceremony in the Milkshakers tent afterwards. Those wishing to participate can get registered online.
Town of Pearl River Fourth of July Celebration. 6-9PM. Downtown Pearl River. Sack races, pie-eating contest, three-legged race and more!
