Fireworks Show. 7-9PM Fontana Road Park, Independence.
Slidell Heritage Festival. 4:30-11PM. Heritage Park, Slidell. $10 entry fee benefits charity. Children 4-12 $5. Children 3 and under get in free. Music all day. Expanded Children’s area open until 8PM. Food and drink for sale. Fireworks at 9PM. See full information on their website.
Abita Springs Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks. 5-10PM. Flag retirement ceremony at 5PM. Music from 6-9PM followed by fireworks. Bands will be: Amedee Frederick and the Creole Men followed by The Abitals. Children’s bike parade at 7PM. Children who enter will receive a free small snowball.
Light Up the Lake. 6PM. Mandeville Lakefront. 10AM–food and drink restrictions stop. At 5PM Old Mandeville Businesses will begin selling food and drink. Fireworks over the lake will be at dusk (this is a change from previous years). Groovy 7 will perform on the stage between Coffee and Carroll Streets.
July 3rd, 2018
Town of Pearl River Fourth of July Celebration. 6-9PM. Downtown Pearl River. Sack races, pie-eating contest, three-legged race and more!
July 4th, 2018
Fireworks Show. 5-9PM. Ponchatoula Area Rec District, 42128 North Hoover Road. Gates open at 5PM. Concession stand will be open and ice cream trucks will be on hand selling. Entertainment will be available until the show starts at sun down.
Light up the Sky. 6-9:30PM. Zemurray Park, Hammond. 16th Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show.
Madisonville Old Fashioned Fourth. 10AM-11PM. Parade line up begins at 10AM. Parades, one-mile fun run, horse shoe tournament, beauty pageant, and more. Fireworks show on the riverfront at 8:30PM. Visit their website for more details.
