Adventure Fest 2017. 9AM-2PM. Mandeville Elementary School. Games and activities for children and trick or treating. Proceeds to benefit the school.

Batty Exploration Express. 10AM-2PM. Causeway Library. Go Batty at the Library! Stop by to hear a story and explore the world of Bats. And for the bravest, there will be also be “creepy” stuff to explore. Stay a few minutes or stay a few hours! Please note that foods will be used in activities. Please call the branch for details. 

Trickin’ and Treatin’ at the Covington Trailhead. 10AM-Noon. The Covington Cultural Arts & Events office hosts local families at the Trailhead for games, fun and a Halloween style activities. 

Boo Fest. 10AM-3PM. Lakeview Regional Hospital. Trick or Treating event for children. Concessions available as well. Event benefits ACCESS Louisiana. Admission is $2/person. Special needs children may arrive at 9AM for special admission.

Mary McScary and Creepy Pair of Underwear Storytime. 11AM. Barnes and Noble. A  special Halloween Storytime! First, in Mary McScary, bestselling authors R.L. Stine and Marc Brown join forces again in a funny story featuring a fearless anti-heroine that will have kids and their parents cheering. Then, in Creepy Pair of Underwear!, Aaron Reynolds and Peter Brown team up for a hilarious and creepy story of a brave rabbit and a very weird pair of underwear. 

Pumpkins in the Park. 11AM -2PM. Terra Bella Square. Lots of activities. Please see the event page for more information.

Silly Saturday. 12:30PM. Amite Library. ParaNorman and Halloween Franken-craft!

Family Wii. 1-2:30PM. Hammond Library.

Ponchatoula Wii Saturday. 1-2PM. Ponchatoula Library.

Tween Movie Matinee: Goosebumps. 2-4PM. Covington Library. Tweens will watch the 2016 Goosebumps (PG) movie, make monster ice cream floats (mint chocolate chip ice cream and Coca–Cola), and a monster corner book mark. Popcorn will also be served in addition to the ice cream floats. 

Trunk or Treat. 3-5PM. St. Timothy, Mandeville. Event will also include music and a chili cook off.

Trunk or Treat. 3-6PM. First Baptist Church of Covington. Event will also include inflatables.

Halloween at the Trailhead. 4-9PM. Mandeville Trailhead. Trick or treating, face painting, slime factory. Costume contest hosted by Josh Meyers of “That 70s Show.” Concert at 7PM: Naydja Cojoe and the Lagniappe Section.

Ninth Annual Tangipahoa and St. Helena Parish’s Night Out Against Crime. 4-7PM. Memorial Park, Ponchatoula. Many, many activities–please see the event page for more information. 

Trunk or Treat. 4:30-6:30PM. JFK Martial Arts. Event also includes a costume contest, games, and inflatables.

October Fest 2017. 5-8:30PM. Three Rivers Shopping Center. Local businesses will be providing trick or treat fun and other activities for the kids. See the event page for a complete list of activities or a location map.

Trunk or Treat. 5-7PM. Madisonville Ball Field. This event is hosted by Bridge Church.

Trunk or Treat. 5:30-7:30PM. Magnolia Park, Folsom.

Lagniappe at the Landing. 6-9PM. Columbia Street Landing.

Trunk or Treat. 6-7:30PM. Northshore Church, Slidell. This event will also include games, face painting, and a chili cook off. Non-candy options for children with allergies will also be available.

Trunk or Treat. 5-7PM. Northscross United Methodist Church. This event will include a hayride, inflatables, and pulled pork BBQ.

Trunk or Treat. 5-7PM. Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Slidell.

Bayou Jam Halloween Bash with Vince Vance and the Valiants. 5:30PM. Heritage Park. Costumes encouraged.
