Touch a Truck. 10AM-3PM. Fremaux Town Center. Hosted by the Slidell Noon Lions. Admission is $3 and benefits a variety of charities. Free eye screenings for children six and under will also be available.

Super Saturday. 10:30-11:30AM. Hammond Library. A special puppet show based on Chicory and Roux: The Creole Mouse and the Cajun Mouse. Performed by the Author/Illustrator team.

Bruce’s Big Move Storytime. 11AM. Barnes and Noble.  Our favorite curmudgeonly bear now shares his home with not only his four geese, but three rowdy mice, too! Fed up with their shenanigans, Bruce sets off to find a rodent-free household. As usual, nothing goes quite according to plan. This hilarious Storytime is sure to keep kids giggling. 

Local Author Book Fair. Noon-4PM. Madisonville Library. The St. Tammany Parish Library will celebrate local talent with a Local Author Book Fair. Authors and illustrators from St. Tammany Parish will have their books for purchase and will also read and discuss excerpts from their books. There will be authors from Hammond and Baton Rouge as well.
