{The Local Dish} The Chopped Cheezy

I’m always on the lookout for new and fun things to eat on the Northshore. So when I spotted the Chopped Cheezy on Instagram it took me about five seconds to realize I needed to try this thing. I mean, I love BBQ and I love Macaroni and Cheese, but I had NEVER thought of combining the two. It was love at first sight.

It also just so happens that I had been chatting with the new owner of Sticks n Bones as she planned her move to the Northshore. Deanna had been directed to Northshore Parent and we’d been talking about fun stuff like swimming, daycare and summer camps.

So it was a natural fit for me to invite myself over to the restaurant to try this sandwich out and give it a taste. First let me say that it lived up to the pictures. AMAZING! Also, I ended up using a fork. I was also able to split it with my babysitter because it’s a huge sandwich.

The Chopped Cheezy is just one of a bunch of great things going on at Sticks N Bones. The new owners, Deanna and Brent Sparkman are inventive and have decades of experience in the restaurant business. The daily specials always look delicious and my BBQ snob husband has also approved their regular faire. You have to follow them on instagram so you can see all the fun things they do. Last time I was in, I had some meat pies filled with chopped beef, cheese, and slaw! Go visit Brent and Deanna and find something great to eat!
