Indy Teen Movie: Deep Water Horizon. 2PM. Independence Library. Teens will enjoy popcorn & movie.

Sunset at the Landing. 6PM. Columbia Street Landing. The Necessary Gentlemen and The Wake of the Dead.

Bingo. 6:30PM Abita Springs Town Hall. All ages welcome. Six and under need not play. Children 6-12 must play at least a 6/10 pack–$7.00. Children 13 and older must play at least 10/12 pack–$15.00.

Abita Springs Bicycle Festival. 8-11AM. Field across from Town Hall.

Mandeville Community Market. 9AM-1PM. Mandeville Trailhead.

Hammond Farmer’s Market. 9AM-3PM.

Miss Kim’s Petting Zoo. 10:30AM-12:30PM. Independence Library. Hands-on program featuring goats, sheep, llama, rabbits, mini donkey, mini pony, and other farm animals.

Indy Wii-U. 10:30AM. Independence Library. Students enjoy popcorn and games.

Father’s Day Storytime. 11AM. Barnes and Noble. When Dad’s Don’t Grow Up. Just in time for Father’s Day, this playful book follows four father-child pairs as they spend happy, silly times together, popping bubble wrap, watching cartoons and taking part in shopping cart races. These dads may look like grown-ups on the outside, but underneath they’re kids just like you! Activities to follow.

Amite’s Silly Saturday. 12:30PM-1:15PM. Amite Library. Movies and games for all ages.

Ponchatoula Wii Saturday for All Ages. 1-2PM. Ponchatoula Library. Visit the Ponchatoula Library to play Wii games on the big screen television!!!

Family Wii. 1-2PM. Hammond Library.

Cajun Dance. 7-10:30PM. Abita Springs Town Hall. Abita Springs Town Hall. Lessons from 7-7:30. Live music from 7:30-10:30PM. Admission is $8/person. $6 for members.

Slidell Movie Night: A League of Their Own. 8:30PM. Heritage Park. People are invited to bring their ice chests (and bug spray!) to the park to enjoy the free movies. Bring your appetites too because concessions from CiCi’s Pizza, Olde Towne Slidell Main Street and Old School Eats Food Truck will also be available for a nominal charge.
