Tangipahoa Fair Grounds, Amite.

Rides run Thursday 6-9, All day Friday, All day Saturday, and Sunday 1-5. Live music on Friday and Saturday. See the full schedule of events on their website.

October 8th, 2022.

Washington Parish Fair

October 19th-23rd, 2022

Washington Parish Fair Grounds.

10AM-9PM.

The largest free fair in the country. A variety of live music, carnival rides, exhibits, and a rodeo. This event is so large it’s hard to capture it in just a few sentences. Please visit their website for all the details.

Slidell Fall Antique Street Fair

October 29th and 30th, 2022.

10AM-5PM.

First, Second, and Erlanger Streets in Olde Towne Slidell. Over 200 booths of antiques, collectibles, arts, crafts, food and live music.

Every weekend in November and usually the first two weekends in December.

10AM-5PM. Downtown Covington, Columbia Street. 

A juried show of original works with nearly 200 artists from more than 22 states. Music. Food. And lots of activities just for kids. FREE.

  1. Hi Katy, thank you for including the Pontchartrain Film Festival on your site. I wanted to let you know that the Friday night showing will now be held outdoors in the Mandeville Trailhead Amphitheater and is Free. We will be showing “Dancing in the Water” about one man’s swim across Lake Pontchartrain. Saturday is in the depot and tickets are $5 as you have listed. Thanks again!
