Well the weather forecast for Saturday isn’t great, so I’ve put together a little list of activities happening on the Northshore for those of you hoping to avoid the weather.
October 30th, 2018
Family Fall Festival. 5-7PM. Chick Fil A, Highway 190, Covington. Costumes welcome.
Happy Halloween at South Slidell. 6:30-7:30PM. South Slidell Library. Wear a costume, listen to a spooky story, do a craft, and trick or treat at the library. No registration required. No food or drink will be served.
October 31st, 2018
Scary Face Pancakes. IHOP. All kids get one FREE Scary Face pancake on this day. 7AM-10AM. Children under 12. Dine-in only.
Boo Bash. 10AM-2PM. Children’s Museum of St. Tammany. Story time at 11 and Noon with local author Michelle Hirstius featuring her book series, Juju the Good Voodoo. Activities, games and trick or treat fun!
Town Celebration. 5-8PM. Abita Town Hall. Inside town hall there will be treats for kids. There is also a trunk or treat outside, but as much as possible will be moved inside if the rain is too intense.
Ghosts, Goblins, and Gumbo. 5:30-9PM. Madisonville Town Hall. Gumbo and fun inside of town hall.
