St. Patrick’s Day Activities on the Northshore

Note: many of these activities have been canceled or postponed due to the corona virus outbreak. Please check wiht the individual event organizers for their plans. We have a list of cancellations here you may also check.

March 7th, 2020

Krewe of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade. 10:30AM. Hwy 22 and East Pine Street, Ponchatoula. This is a walking parade that throws cabbage, potatoes, and other produce!

March 8th, 2020

St. Patrick’s Day Parade. 1PM. Olde Towne Slidell.

March 14th, 2020

Shamrock Run. 8AM. Friendship Circle, Campus of Southeastern University. Day include a 10K, 5K, and 1 mile fun run. Registration and more information available on the Hammond Rotary website.

Storytime and Activities Featuring Pete the Cat: the Great Leprechaun Chase. 11AM. Barnes and Noble Mandeville. Will it be Pete the Cat’s lucky day or will he learn that luck takes work in this charming book? Find out at Storytime, and stay for delightful activities afterward!

St. Patrick’s’s Day Parade and Celebration. Noon-5PM. Downtown Covington. Parade begins at the Columbia Street Tap Room and ends at Jewel Cigar. To see a route map, please visit the event page.
