Jumping Into Summer. 10AM-Noon. Covington Trailhead. Farm animals, face painting, and kids activities. FREE.
Summer Reading Kickoff Concert. 10AM-3PM. Abita Springs Trailhead. The live music festival will feature local bands. There will be face painting, prizes, the Trailhead splash pad, food vendors, and a whole lot more! No pets, alcohol, or glass bottles permitted. Admission is free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather, the Music Festival will be held at the Madisonville Branch, 1123 Main Street.
Fancy Nancy and the Wedding of the Century Storytime. 11AM. Barnes and Noble. Storytime and activities in celebration of the Royal Wedding. In this wonderful book about weddings big and small, Fancy Nancy helps out the bride and attends a fabulous party.

::SPONSOR EVENT:: Grand Opening of Sweet Idea. Noon. Come see the latest trends in sweets–rolled ice cream and Asian fusion desserts. Traditional Asian Lion Dance at 1PM.
Bayou Jam Concert: The Castaways. 5:30-7:30PM. Heritage Park. Concert‐goers are invited to bring their chairs, blankets, ice chests and picnic baskets to the park to enjoy the free concerts. On‐site catering will be available for a nominal charge. Please note that park regulations prohibit pets in the park as well as the use of skateboards, scooters, barbecue grills and glass items.
