Author Night with Erin Entrada Kelly. 7-8:30PM. Causeway Library.  Newbery Medal Winning author Erin Entrada Kelly will talk about her books, the writing process, and her life. For Kids, Teens, and Families! Books will be available for purchase and signing (cash or checks only.)

Camellia City Farmer’s Market. 8AM-Noon. 333 Erlanger, Slidell.

Mandeville Community Market. 9AM-1PM. Mandeville Trailhead.

Hammond Farmer’s Market. 9AM-3PM. 

Fall Festival. 9am-2PM. Greenbriar Community Care Center. This large event will include a yard sale and bake sale, food tent, family crafts, a cake walk, fun jumper, a live auction and live entertainment!

Fall Fest Arts and Crafts. 9AM-3PM. Coquille Park.

Wild Things. 10AM-4PM. Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. Features outdoor activities including children’s activities, live animals, live music, hayrides, face-painting, bayou boat & canoe tours and much more! Visitors will also get to learn more about Louisiana wildlife and wildlands.

Literary Pep Rally. 10AM-2PM. Hammond Library. Free books, free food and drinks, and free activities.

Storytime and Activities Featuring I Lost My Tooth. 11AM. Barnes and Noble. Mo Willems is back with another breakout beginning-reader series. This time, an ensemble cast of squirrels, acorns, and pop-in guests host a page-turning extravaganza!  Storytime participants will receive a coupon for grilled cheese sandwich with milk or juice for just $4.

Fall for Art. 6-9PM. Downtown Covington.

Field of Screams. 7-10PM. Covington Recreation Complex. Recreation Complex, 4001 De Porres Rd, Covington. There are two trails–one for 12 and up and one for younger guests or those who don’t like scary.

Mandeville Live. 6:30-8:30PM. Mandeville Trailhead. Featured act is Bonerama.

Bayou Jam Concert with the Northshore Community Orchestra. 5-6:30PM. Concert‐goers are invited to bring their chairs, blankets, ice chests and picnic baskets to the park to enjoy the free concerts. On‐site catering will be available for a nominal charge.
