The Great Playdate. 10AM-4PM. Castine Center, Mandeville. The Great Play Date is a full day of fun for the kids! Bounce houses, rock wall, interactive games, and more activities. They’ll meet princesses, heroes and more of their favorite characters. Arts and crafts area, video games for the bigger kids and even a special play area for the little ones. All inside the cool A.C. of the Castine Center! Just $5 admission (all persons 1+ need a ticket) for all the fun.

Peterrific and Aqualicious Storytime. 11AM. Barnes and Noble. New York Times bestselling author Victoria Kann is back with a follow-up to the Pinkalicious book series. Join Peter, Pinkalicious’s little brother, as he tries to build a tower of blocks that will reach the moon. Story time continues with a family trip to the beach in the popular Aqualicious. Activities to follow.
Lion Up Release Party. Noon-5PM. Gnarly Barley Brewery, Hammond. a party to celebrate the release of LION UP, an American Wheat Ale brewed for Southeastern Louisiana University. There will be live music by Blair Stone & Jambalaya by Ragusa’s Boiling Pot. All ages are welcome and there is no admission. Friendly pups on leashes are also welcome.
