Two years ago, the “low tire pressure” light came on in my husband’s car. The vehicle was only 2 1/2 years young and still had fairly low mileage, so he took it to the nearby dealership.  When they recommended that he should purchase all new tires (and we heard the price tag!) I freaked out. Deciding that a second opinion was in order, he went to Tire World in Mandeville.  They said all we needed was a patch on one of his tires, saving us hundreds of dollars.  Now, two years later, it’s starting to look like he may actually need some new tires. I know where we will be buying them!

When it comes to car maintenance and repair, most people have probably felt overcharged or over sold at some point.  So I reached out to some Facebook circles to find local mechanic referrals.  Please feel free to let us know if there’s someone great that we missed either here or on Facebook–we’d love to get some names for Hammond  and Covington areas especially.
