Jay-Z. 4:44 Tour
A legend whose music is consistently cutting edge. Jay-Z holds the record for solo artist with the most number one singles on the Billboard Top 200. The rapper is one of the best-selling artists of all time and is touring currently in support of his latest album, 4:44.
Show date: Thursday, November 8th.

Ani DiFranco Plus MILCK
Ani DiFranco is a multi-instumentalist who has released over twenty albums during her career. A New Orleans resident, she is one of the first artists to create her own record label, Righteous Babe. Her music has been called both folk and alternative, but it is hard to classify into one genre. She will be performing with MILCK who calls her work Cathartic Pop. Also a multi-instrumentalist, MILCK gained a national following after performing a variety of flash mobs at the Women’s March in Washington D.C. in January of 2015.

DMX
Rapper DMX known best for his hit song “Party Up (Up in Here)” performs at The House of Blues.

Tuba Skinny
One of my favorite local bands, they play an old-time jazz that’s hard to find many other places. They’ve traveled all over the world, but New Orleans is their home and they do a couple shows a month here and there. Catch them early-ish on Frenchmen Street where they started their career on the streets.
Date: November 17th
Where: D.B.A. at 6PM.
Tickets: admission is free.
Indian Blue Featuring Sasone, Fohl, and Boudreaux
Catch this local blues act at at the Historic Dew Drop Jazz Hall and Social Club. This venue fills up quick so feel free to bring your lawn chairs so you can catch the show from the lawn. Kids are welcome at these fun live music shows.
Date: November 17th
Where: Dew Drop Social Hall and Benevolent Jazz Club, Mandeville
Tickets: Admission is $10/person.
Abita Opry
A true Northshore original, the Abita Opry puts on just three shows in the fall and three shows in the spring. The lineup for the the November show looks especially good.
Date: Saturday, November 18th
Where: Abita Springs Town Hall
Tickets: $18 and available for purchase at Town Hall during regular business hours.
Tracy Byrd
Country recording artist Tracy Byrd has been playing since 1993 and has had two number one hits and eleven singles in the billboard top ten. He’ll be playing at local hot spot Rockin’ Willy’s.
Date: Friday, November 17th

Tab Benoit
Tab loves to play Ruby’s on Thanksgiving weekend. The famous blues guitarist and Louisiana native always puts on a good show. Grab one of those available relatives and see if they watch the kids while you check out the show.

Tickets: Admission charge is usually around $10, but you should call the day of to confirm prices for the show.
