This Kansas mom thought she had a great Dad, but she had no idea how great.
Raising a daughter alone can be tough, but that’s what this Kansas mom has been doing. The father of her child hasn’t expressed any interest in his daughter’s life. While always hard, it was an especially tough day when her daughter came home in tears with a flyer advertising a father/daughter dance at school.
Imagine this mom’s surprise when the night before the dance HER dad showed up–from almost 2000 miles away! He had flown in to surprise them and take her daughter to the dance. I’m getting all teary-eyed just thinking about it!
When we have children we promise to love them forever and that includes when they’re grown and have children of their own. The dad (and grandpa) knows the true meaning of fatherhood.
