With category one storm Hurricane Nate predicted to hit the New Orleans area late Saturday evening, some events in our area are being cancelled this weekend. We’ll be keeping a list below:
The Mandeville Live Concert scheduled for Saturday evening at 6:30PM has been rescheduled for the spring.
Classes are cancelled at Apetrei Dance Center in Mandeville. Apretrei Nutcracker rehearsals are also cancelled.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s planned for this Saturday in Fontainebleau State Park has been rescheduled for November 4th.
First Baptist Church in Mandeville will have no church services this Sunday.
Kiwanis 5K scheduled for Saturday morning has been cancelled.
All soccer games originally slated for this weekend at Coquille Park have been rescheduled for November 4th.
Junior League of Greater Covington is postponing their Annual Harvest Cup Polo until Sunday, October 15th.
Christ Church’s Blessing of the Pets has been moved to next weekend.
Sunday services at First Baptist of Covington are cancelled. They will be having a service at 6PM Saturday evening.
Olde Towne Pumpkin Festival at First Methodist in Slidell has been rescheduled for October 21st.
First Baptist Church in Slidell will be closed all weekend.
Beignet Fest in New Orleans has been rescheduled for December 2nd.
