Which Northshore Neighborhoods Trick or Treat?

I had a great question here on the site the other day and I couldn’t answer it despite having been in business over four years. Her question? Which neighborhoods around here trick or treat? It was one of the first questions I asked when I moved into my current home ten years at the end of October, so I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me before this! I asked on Facebook and here’s a list of neighborhoods that DO trick or treat. If your neighborhood doesn’t, no worries! The towns of Madisonville and Abita Springs both have Halloween celebrations that are open to the public and Ponchatoula has two different trunk or treats happening in the middle of town.

    We are new to Louisiana moved here just three months ago. We live in Huntwyck Village. I just learned today that not every area will be doing trick or treating on 10/31. Some are doing friday and saturday. How do I know what day my area is doing?

      Typically most areas will trick or treat on the 31st. If a number of neighborhoods move their festivities then we will have a list up on the site.
