If so, sailing camp at Ponchartrain Yacht Club is exactly what you’re looking for. Lasting two weeks, this camp is designed to teach children ages eight to sixteen the basics of sailing. With the help of certified instructors, children will learn to sail on a Sunfish, Optimist, 420, and Flying Scot.
One of the most-wonderful rings about sailing is that it is truly a skill that can be used for a lifetime. Ponchartrain Yacht Club Sail Camp provides more than a few hours of childcare–it it is a gift of passion and skill for your child. Camp is taught by certified instructors who will pass on their knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport.
