Bayou Jam Concerts in Slidell

On weekends in the fall and spring, Slidell has good fun on the bayou with their Bayou Jam concert series. Held at Heritage Park, these concerts are free and open to the public of all ages.

What to bring (and what not to bring):

Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. Outside food and alcohol is allowed but glass containers, BBQ pits and pets are not.

What to expect:

As the sun sets over Bayou Bonfuca in Slidell’s Heritage Park, there will be music and dancing for all to enjoy. A variety of different bands play over the course of the concert series so that there should be something to appeal to everyone from young to old.

When:

Bayou Jam concerts are typically held between late September and early November on either Saturday or Sunday evenings. To check the exact schedule, list of bands and times for the shows, look up the City of Slidell on their Facebook page or on their website.

Covid-19 Guidelines for 2021:

The event is outdoors but masking is required when using the bathroom indoors.

Hi, I'm Aimée, the Special Projects Coordinator for Northshore Parent. If there's a fun giveaway, a kids' clothing review, or a special event, there's a good chance that I'm responsible. I'm a lifelong resident of St. Tammany (except for time at LSU for undergrad and law school) and a mom to 3 little ones, ages 6, 6 (yes, they are twins, and no, they are not identical) and 2. Thanks for reading Northshore Parent and being a part of our community.
