Brooks’ Bike Shop’s most popular event returns on Saturday, October 23, 2021! Biketoberfest takes you on a tour of the beautiful Tammany Trace and to St. Tammany’s breweries: Abita Brewery just outside Abita Springs, Chafunkta Brewing Company and Old Rail Brewing Company, both in Mandeville. Beer will be for sale at all locations.

Must be 21+ to participate. The ride is free, the beer is not!

Schedule:

1:00 pm: Meet at Brooks’ Bicycle Co-Op in Mandeville, 128 Girod St.

1:30 pm: Leave Brooks’ Bicycle Co-Op and ride to Old Rail Brewing Co., 639 Girod St (across from Mandeville Trailhead)

2:15 pm: Leave Old Rail and ride to PJ’s Coffee House, 1665 Dove Park Road, Mandeville

3:00 pm: Leave PJ’s and ride to Chafunkta Brewery, 69123 Skybrook Road, Mandeville

4:15 pm: Leave Chafunkta and ride to Abita Brewing Company, 21084 Hwy 36, Covington

5:45 pm: Leave Abita and ride to Brooks’ Bike Shop in Covington, 416 E Gibson St., for the Nightmare on Columbia concert at the Covington Trailhead featuring Tyler Kinchen & The Right Pieces.

Halloween costumes are encouraged!
All participants will be encouraged to practice social distancing while riding and at each stop. Bring your own masks!

Participants are welcome to lock up their bikes at Brooks’ Bike Shop in Covington while enjoying the Nightmare on Columbia concert. Shuttle services will not be provided this year, so you will need to arrange your own transportation.
