It’s time for our traditional march along the Mandeville lakefront to celebrate Kings Day and the start of Carnival 2022! On Saturday, January 8th, we will debut our new routines for the season, along with various organizations, including:
Lakeshore High Titan Band
Fontainebleau Jr High Cheer
Nola Bombshells
The Lagniappe Ladies
Lollipops Marching Group
Slidell Synch
Come out to the lakefront* at 2pm to cheer on the participants, and then join us afterward from 3-6pm at the Mandeville Trailhead for a festival sponsored by Abita Brewery and Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, featuring performances by some of the parade participants. This festival is also fundraiser for the Mande Milkshakers organization.
– With a $20 donation, you will receive a wristband for shrimp pastalaya and Abita beer.
– With a $10 donation, you will receive a wristband for shrimp pastalaya and root beer.
We will accept all donations at the Mandeville Trailhead on the day of the event. (Cash or Venmo is preferred.)
*Please note – this is a walking parade; there will be no floats or throws.
