Loranger Volunteer Fire Department and the Loranger Horse Drawn Parade are proud to announce the First Annual Loranger Community Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 2 pm.
Our Grand Marshal is Miss Lindsay LaMarca the 2019 Ambassador for the Very Special Miss Louisiana Pageant.
Motorized entries will line up beginning on Hiatt Street by Loranger High School. Horses, Wagons and Riders will line up at the Loranger FFA Arena.
The parade route will begin at Hiatt Street and Highway 1062. It will continue on Highway 1062 and turn on Highway 40, continue for two blocks before turning onto Allman Street by the Tangipahoa Parish Library. The Motorized Division will continue to Hiatt Street. The Horse Drawn Division will turn onto Commerce Street and continue on Highway 1062 back to the Loranger FFA Arena.
Awards will be given for First, Second and Third place “Best Decorated” in both the Motorized and Horse Drawn Divisions.
There will be no entry fee for this year’s parade; however, entries will still need to register on-site the day of the parade for judging.
No ATV’s, UTV’s or 4-Wheelers are allowed in the parade.
