The governor has officially shut down dining rooms across Louisiana but restaurants are still cooking and still offering food in a number of different ways. We’ve got a list here of places offering a way to keep social distance and get food for your family.
I am linking directly to their social posting or websites about what they are offering to help you make your decision.
I’ve tried to keep this listed focused on locally-owned establishments. This is nothing against the big chains, but local restaurants are owned by people who live beside us and send their kids to our schools, etc. I have only listed places where I could confirm that they were in fact making changes based on the new laws–I’d hate to send you somewhere that wasn’t prepared.

Abita Springs Restaurants
Abita Brew Pub (They are also offering family meal options)
Abita Cafe (they have also installed a drive thru for their snowball stand)
Mama D’s Pizza (take out and delivery have always been available)
Covington Restaurants
Bayou Boil and Geaux (drive thru boiled crawfish)
Columbia Street Tap Room (daily menus released)
Dickey’s BBQ (they have several posts about options so look around)

Giovanna’s Bakery (always take away–they have bread if you’re having trouble finding it!)

Mattina Bella (I’m seeing daily specials on their facebook page as well)
OxLot 9 (they are offering a special menu with specials from Smoke BBQ and OxLot)
