Cheap Movies at Regal Summer Movie Express

Every summer our local Regal Theater will show a series of movies for just $2 on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. This is a fantastic way to keep the kids entertained when it’s too hot to be outside. This is also a great chance for kiddos to practice their theater manners before you spend a ton of money on a movie.  This year the movies appear to be playing at 11AM.

If you’re not sure which theaters around here are Regal Theaters, there’s only one in our area the Regal Covington Theater located on Highway 21.

Schedule for Summer Movie Express 2022 (Covington, LA Theater)

Week 1 (Tues. 5/24 & Wed. 5/25) – Lego Ninjago Movie and Madagascar

Week 2 (Tues. 5/31 &  Wed. 6/1) – Lego Movie/Penguins of Madagascar

Week 3 (Tues. 6/7 & Wed. 6/8) – Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax/ The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

Week 4 (Tues. 6/14 & Wed. 6/15) – Abominable / The Lego Batman Movie

Week 5 (Tues. 6/21 & Wed. 6/22) – Despicable Me/ Pokemon Detective Pikachu

Week 6 (Tues. 7/5 & Wed. 7/6) – Puss N Boots/Sing

Week 7 (Tues. 7/12 & Wed. 7/13) – Sing 2/Space Jam: A New Legacy

Week 8 (Tues. 7/19 & Wed. 7/20) – Despicable Me 3/Tom and Jerry
