Storytime for All Ages. 10:30AM. Abita Springs Branch of the St. Tamm Library. Books, stories, rhymes, activities and music for young children of all ages and their grown ups. Please note that food may be used as a craft material. Please call the branch for details. Please inform the librarian of any food allergies at least one week in advance. We are happy to make accommodations for you.
Storywalk for Families at Northlake Nature Center. Noon-3PM. Families can stop by anytime but should arrive by 2:30 to be able to enjoy the entire story. The StoryWalk® will take about a half hour to complete, but the afternoon could be stretched out longer as families enjoy the trails at the center. The featured book will be “Waiting for Wings” by Lois Elhert. It’s a beautifully illustrated story about butterflies. The story allows for a lot of fun participation. Families can expect to flutter, flyer, dance and recreate other antics as they walk from page to page of the story. Check back for rain date in case of inclement weather.
Bingo. 6:30PM Abita Springs Town Hall. All ages welcome. Six and under need not play. Children 6-12 must play at least a 6/10 pack–$7.00. Children 13 and older must play at least 10/12 pack–$15.00.

Join us in making your own special PB&J sandwich and have some milk. Peanut butter, grape jelly, bread and milk will be served. We will also have almond butter for those with peanut allergies and gluten free bread for wheat allergies available. Please call the branch for details. Teen Real World InfoCon: How to Adult. 1-4PM. Slidell Branch of the St. Tamm Library. Join us for this special event to help prepare you for the real world. Three speakers will be on hand to explain how to get a job, how to spend/save your money wisely, and how to eat properly. There will be door prizes, handouts, and snacks! Limit: 30 teens ages 12 – 18, only please. Online registration required.
