Six Mermaid-Themed Drinks for Your Next Event

With our Beach, Please! mom’s night out just weeks away, we have ocean getaways and sassy mermaids on the brain! And what goes better with the beach than a refreshing tropical drink? We’ve compiled a list of our favorite beachy beverages for your pre-gaming pleasure. Enjoy!

Mermaid Mimosa

This colorful libation puts an under-the-sea spin on the First Lady of day drinking, the classic mimosa. Midori and Blue Curaçao give the Mermaid Mimosa a gorgeous ocean feel and tropical taste.

Seafoam Sangria

Hpnotiq blends with white wine and ginger ale for a sparkling and lightly sweet Seafoam Sangria. Sliced star fruit completes the look!

Ocean Floats (non-alcoholic)

These adorable and kid-friendly floats are a snap to make. The Swedish fish really take it over the top!

Mermaid Tears Vodka

If you’re more of a “make mine neat” type of mermaid, this Mermaid Tears vodka will be right up your alley. Sparkly clear liquor, served best straight up? Yes, please!

Beach, Please! Martini

We kind of wish we’d come up with this one ourselves, but sharing it with you is an acceptable consolation prize! Coconut rum and tropical fruits make this martini a perfect match to our beachy theme.

Do all of these drink recipes have you ready to party? Too lazy to make your own mermaid cocktail and want someone to make it for you? GREAT! Please come and join us at our second annual Moms’ Night Out: Beach, Please! Hosted at Nan’s Cafe, the evening will feature dancing, drinks, and dinner, new friends, fun, and photo booth. Get your tickets here and come hang out with us.

BONUS: Mermaid Lemonade (non-alcoholic)

If after the party you’re feeling a little parched, this is the perfect recipe to help bring you back to full mermaid capacity. Spirulina adds a green hue and burst of B6 energy to this healthy lemonade, while filtered water, fresh lemon juice, and coconut vinegar (yes, that’s a thing!) help you feel hydrated and balanced. It sounds like a perfect hangover cure to us!
