I have the fondest memories of dancing the night away to MC Hammer’s 2 Legit 2 Quit when I was in seventh grade. So when I saw this birthday party I HAD to share it with all of you. Adorable Palmer turned two and his party was held at the Kids and Family Arena in Mandeville. Like many two-year-olds he stays very active so the arena was a great place to host his party! His mom and dad picked an old school hip-hop theme and carried it throughout the party–backdrop, t-shirts, cake table, and favors! Here are all the deets and then I’ll just let you scroll through the pictures!
Now I know that we have all seen a throwback party theme, but this is the first time I’ve seen a 90s theme. Picking a fun theme for a kid’s party can be tough–especially if you’re trying to avoid doing a character. This one does a great job of being fun and it could work for a boy or a girl!
Venue: Kids and Family Arena
Cake: Mitzi Roberts Nick
Balloon arch and backdrop: Party Teepeezz & Events
Accent balloon for the cake table: The Graceful Host
And now for the good stuff!
I hope you all enjoyed checking out this creative two-year-old birthday party! I know it can be a struggle to think of a good theme, but we’re here to help with lots of good ideas from local moms and dads!
