  1. There is another splash pad in Covington. My kids and I visited it last summer, here is a link to the park’s web page. http://www.coquillerecreation.com/ It’s really cute with huge colorful flowers!

    • that one is really new! I had heard that they put a splash pad in at Coquille but hadn’t seen it myself. Thanks!

  2. Fun! Thanks for the info! There’s also a splash pad in Pearl River.

From what I understand the splash pad at fountain blue state park us not in operation and hasn’t been for the last two years.

    • Thank you Patricia! This post was written last year and will be updated later this month. I’ll be sure to reflect that information when it is updated.

For Abita Springs and other NorthShore locales supposed known for their water, this list is a miserable admission of civic failure. Ever gone to cities and towns in Texas? Water parks, lakes, swimming holes, Olympic sized pools, cliff diving, etc. The NorthShore is barely civilized in its accommodation to summer heat. The voters of this place will suffer this summer, and until they grow up.

    Thanks for this info!

I’m in Hammond area. The pool at Zemurry park is gone. They’re expanding the skate park and will encompass that area. I don’t think they plan on opening a replacement. There is a splash area though.
